The Reel Deal Pole Caddy is the patented product invented by Capt. Joe, an avid inshore/offshore fisherman from south Louisiana. The Capt. was trying to figure out a way to transport his own rods & reels to the water without destroying them. Every product on the market at that time was poorly designed for the type of heavy duty rods he was transporting. There was no design that would not attach and remove easily to his tool box without damage, thus voiding his tool box warranty. Nor could he find a product that would attach and remove easily to his truck bed with the option of carrying multiple rods & reels. So along with some input from a tool box manufacturer the Capt. came up with the perfect answer to these issues. Thus came the name, 'The Reel Deal', because it is the best way to transport your rods & reels safely, without damage to either your truck or rods & reels. There was still one issue to be dealt with...'What to do with the rods & reels and the pole caddy once he returned home...So he designed the unique pole caddy storage unit. This unit not only supports the Reel Deal Pole Caddy unit, complete with all it's cargo of rods & reels but provides 5 additional rod holders for gaffs, nets, and rods & reels.
