Fuse Size: Uses a 30 amp fuse. Maxi fuse holders and Maxi fuses are recommended for the in-line fuse on the positive (white) wire lead. A 30 AMP circuit breaker can be used as an alternative to the inline fuse.

Wiring Configuration: Each downrigger should have its own wiring with inline fuses. It is not mandatory to have both fuses and a circuit breaker.

Multiple Riggers Wiring: Do not run multiple riggers from the same set of wires. Each downrigger should have its dedicated set of wires.

Wire Gauge: Use 10/2 wiring for leads of 15 feet or less for a single downrigger. For multiple riggers connected to a fuse/circuit panel, use 4 or 6 gauge wire as the main feed to the panel and 10 gauge wire from the panel to each rigger.

Recommended Plug: Marineco (70 AMP) 3 wire charging/trolling system plug is recommended for Traxstech Downriggers.
