The principal partner of Lake Erie Walleye, LLC has had a love and fascination with Lake Erie and walleye fishing for over 30 years. Having grown up on the shores of Lake Erie in Central Ohio he s maintained a life-long appreciation for the world class walleye, smallmouth bass and yellow perch fishery that Lake Erie is known for.

In 1995 Lake Erie Walleye, LLC began publication of a subscription based print magazine, Lake Erie Walleye Magazine. A
few years later with advances
in technology and with the birth of the Internet the print magazine was transformed to an online publication via the www.walleye.com fishing information web site. With over
4,000 daily visitors www.walleye.com has become one of the busiest fishing web sites in the Midwest offering in-depth fishing reports, fishing articles, charter fishing information, boat classified
sales and very rich content to assist anyone wanting to learn about and experience the world-class Lake Erie fishery.

tackle store was spawned in large part by feedback and requests from loyal www.walleye.com visitors
for a venue to purchase quality fishing related products specific to Lake Erie
Fisherman. 
Over the years the online tackle store has grown and now offers thousands of fishing
and outdoors products to not only Lake Erie Fisherman but to fisherman all across the country.
We have partnered with dozens of manufacturers, wholesalers and distributers of quality fishing tackle and outdoors products in this venture and follow a drop-ship model where our partners fill and ship all orders coming from our customers. This model has proven successful as we've been able to maintain a very low overhead of operations which in turn allows us to keep prices low while offering thousands of products. We offer products for a wide range of fishing, from downriggers and rod holders for offshore trolling to rods and reels and just about anything related to fishing and outdoors. We continue to add products to our site in order to bring our customers the best and latest in tackle and gear. Our focus is personal customer service and we strive to give our clients a very personable and enjoyable shopping experience. There are only two of us (Husband and Wife) in our operation and we very much enjoy interacting and getting to know our customers and as a result we have a rapidly growing number of satisfied repeat customers. Our tackle store web site is not fancy and does not have all the bells and whistles of some but we follow the KISS principle and try to keep our operational costs down so we can pass savings along to you.
We follow sound business principles and we respect all of our partners by following Minimum Retail Pricing (MRP) and Minimum Advertising Pricing (MAP) to the letter. We realize that many of our online retail competitors do not follow these guidelines and as a result they may offer lower prices on some products. Though we lose some business by not looking for loop holes and ways to get around these MRP and MAP we are firm in our belief that respect for our business partners wishes and excellent personable customer service is JOB ONE.

Shipping charges are calculated based on the purchase amount. Periodically we offer FREE Shipping and Handling promotions on
Ground service or United States Postal Service (PO Boxes Only) within the contiguous 48 US States. Oversize, heavy, bulky, and multiple package shipments may require additional charges. You will be advised via email or phone of any additional shipping charges. Most in-stock items are shipped within 2 business days.

Shipping Exceptions
Periodically we will offer a FREE Shipping promotion for orders that are of reasonable size and weight. During this FREE shipping promotions the Walleye Tackle Store reserves the right to apply shipping charges to large and/or heavy items including but not limited to:
- One-Piece Fishing Rods
- Double, Triple and Quad Rod Holders
- Downriggers
- Planer Reels and Riggers
- Rocket Launchers
- Large Coolers
- Large Archery items as Compound Bows
In cases where additional shipping charges apply you will be contacted by email or phone for approval of the additional charges prior to processing the order.

Back Ordered Items
After your initial shipment of in stock items are sent, all remaining back ordered items are shipped free of charge. If all items are out of stock when you submit your order, you are responsible for the initial shipping charge. If we receive a portion of the order we will ship those items at the original cost of shipping and the remaining back ordered items will ship at no cost to you. The method of shipping will depend on the best option available. Back ordered items will ship either First Class Mail or UPS Ground.
Returns
At WalleyeTackleStore.com customer satisfaction is our #1 goal. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, simply return it to us within 60 days of its shipment date and we will credit you for the entire amount of your order less the shipping charges. Exchanges can also be made within 60 days of the shipment date. The following exceptions to this policy apply: (a) Items that have been used and cannot be resold as new; (b) items that are special ordered cannot be returned or exchanged; (c) laundered (washed) garments and cannot be returned or exchanged; (d) CDs, DVDs and VCR movies can be returned only if they are unopened and unused and the factory-seal and
shrink-wrap is unbroken (unless the item is defective or damaged); (e) electronic devices, including flashers and fish finders, once opened, cannot be returned and if defective or damaged must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement.
To return a product simply call us at 1-800-347-4519 or send us an email at walleyetacklestore@gmail.com requesting a return authorization. PLEASE DO NOT ship the product back until we contact you with the correct return shipping address. We use a number of suppliers and the return address will vary depending on the product purchased. For your protection, please insure the package for its full value and obtain a package tracking number. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages that are sent to us for return or exchange.
Please keep all packaging materials, manuals, warranties and accessories intact. Products with missing or severely damaged packaging, manuals, warranties or accessories will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. We cannot be held responsible for damage to items resulting from improper use not in accordance with listed directions or established practice.
