The Springfield EZ-Ride is a 2-7/8 inch wave dampening pedestal with a swivel, using an internal gas shock within a mechanical spring to soften the ride. It has a 12 inch anodized aluminum pedestal with a 9 inch round base, a 3-1/2 inch outer post with a 2-7/8 inch inner post, 3-1/2 inches of vertical travel, and is tested to ABYC H-31 dynamic and static loads for recreational inshore use.
