The Shakespeare 399-1M is a 9 foot 6 inch VHF marine antenna with 6 dB gain, a collinear phased 5/8-wave design, and a special sleeve for mast mounting. It has brass and copper elements, a chrome-plated brass ferrule with a standard 1 inch by 14 thread, is supplied with 1-1/4 inch U-bolts, and has a maximum input of 100 watts.

The Style 399-1M is the same as the 399-1, but it has a special sleeve for mast mounting. A professional quality antenna in a compact package. This extra-duty antenna combines strength and performance for use where you really need the efficiency of a large antenna, but don't have room for one.
