The Great Lakes Planers Rugged Great Lakes Planers “all aluminum” planer reel and bracket assembly. Our reels are nearly indestructible and come with a limited lifetime warranty. GLP planer reels are the strongest on the market with a positive locking clutch system and a durable, powder coat finish. The fold away handle is mounted on a 3 ½” providing the strongest cranking power on the market. Our reels come pre-spooled with 150’ of 200 lb Dacron tow line. The bracket is designed for 2” OD masts only.
