Before starting to repack, ensure the CO2 Firing Mechanism is Armed, Refer to the Instructions on the RBA-200. The CO2 Bottle must be full, not pierced or fired, and the lower bobbin mechanism shows Green, not Red. Step 1 Make sure that the Rescue tube is dry and flat before repacking. Lay the rescue tube face up and fold the red grasp handles on to the tube. Step 2 Once the grasp handles are folded in, locate the red webbing along the end of the tube closest to the arming cannister. Pinch the red webbing where they intersect with the grasp handles. Step 3 Lift and fold the end of the rescue tube onto itself while keeping the Firing Mechanism on top. The tube folds into three layers. Step 4 Tuck in any loose webbing as you pack the tube, then fold it a second time. Notice that the folds tend to line up at the spots where the grasp handles link to the tube. Step 5 Fold the Tube a third time on to end. Press gently on the tube to flatten it. Step 6 Once the three folds are complete, tuck in both ends of the tube. Fold the tow straps onto the tube. Step 7 Once the tube is stacked and all straps are tucked in, roll the tube into a tightly packed cylinder. Step 8 Open the velcro on the nylon pack and place the rolled-up tube inside. Close and seal the Velcro along the sides and top of the pack. Step 9 The rescue tube should be packed into a cylinder with the pull tab hanging out the pack. Secure the pull tab with the small Velcro strap at the top of the pack. Great job, you’ve successfully packed up your RBA-200 Rescue Tube. Thank you from FirstWatch Gear.
