Lowrance | Where to Find Software Updates

This video applies to all Lowrance displays. For many Lowrance users, the concept of updating marine electronic software is completely new. With a newly designed website, the downloads and support page is in a slightly different location. Jacob Scott, Lowrance Product Expert, walks through the basics of finding the software update files and downloading them to your computer. Once you're on the downloads page on Lowrance.com, select your Lowrance product and download the file to your computer. Simply copy the files to a microSD card, and insert the card into your display. Turn your display off, and then on again. Upon startup, the Lowrance display will automatically detect the software update on the microSD card and install the software. 00:00 Introduction 00:40 go to Lowrance.com 01:10 Select your Unit 01:53 Download the last version of the software 02:24 Copy your software to your Micro SD Card and put it in the unit 02:50 End Please comment if you have any questions or suggestions! Lowrance | StructureScan™ 3D Basics

StructureScan 3D gives freshwater and saltwater anglers a unique, three-dimensional view of fish, structure and bottom contours — making it easier to understand where fish and structure are located in relation to your boat. With StructureScan™ 3D, anglers spend less time searching for productive water and more time catching fish. Earlier this year, StructureScan™ 3D was upgraded with Active Imaging™ enhancements in the 18.3 software update, which provides higher-resolution, cleaner 3D views plus a new Custom Depth Shading feature. Adding StructureScan™ 3D to an HDS LIVE system gives anglers the capability to simultaneously view 3D images alongside SideScan and DownScan Imaging for the first time – via new, configurable split-panel display panel options. StructureScan™ 3D requires a 3D module with transducer and a HDS LIVE, HDS Carbon or HDS Gen3 fishfinder/chartplotter display. 0:00:00 Introduction 0:00:31 What is StructureScan™ 3D 0:02:11 How to Customize the color palette 0:03:11 How to Setup the DownScan Imaging 0:04:11 How to Setup and Use the 3D Sonar 0:08:00 End Please comment if you have any questions or suggestions!
