This rail base is designed for use with our Quick Release Ranger Style Mounts.  This base unit can be mounted to any 7/8 " rail or 1 "rail on the boat as an additional location to secure your rod holders.  Having multiple rail bases on your boat allows for much more versatility when fishing.
